The “History of Bricktown”, made by local artist Susan Morrison, is composed over more than 158,000 tiles over six different panels depicting the monumental events in Bricktown’s History. It is located at the Bricktown Ballpark in the heart of this historic district in Downtown Oklahoma City. The six panels are divided by the home plate entrance in Johnny Bench plaza right outside the park. They each represent an important part of Bricktown’s history. For example, one panel illustrates the first African American school, which was located where the Ballpark now stands.
