My first impression of this sculpture was that it resembles the first wheel invented by the cavemen. The wheel has a large diameter, and it is set on a base near the sidewalk surrounding Broncho Lake. The wheel portion is not very round/symmetrical, and has a center cutout about the size of a light switch plate. It is hollow inside. The color of the object is silver with lots of rust-colored marks. I love the story behind the UCO art contest, and it’s nice that they were able to find such a good place to showcase the artist’s work right here on campus. Many students hang out at Broncho Lake, so this is a high-visibility location.
The close-up photo will show the texture and material of the art work.
