On the center median of South Kelly, in the 1900 block, across from Allegiance Credit Union.

The sculpture is approximately 6-1/2 feet high. It consists of two interlocking curved shapes mounted on a short black post and standing on a 15 inch diameter metal cylinder.

We’re not sure that abstracts should be “interpreted” and probably should be left undescribed, but as we studied this piece, two thoughts came to mind. The upper piece resembles a fish hook, and the lower piece may be symbolic of a fish’s mouth.
