Transit Center
The artwork by Don Mitchell at the Downtown Transit Center in Oklahoma City can be described as surreal, colorful, and unique designs. Six different panels “In Step”, “Rain or Shine”, “Going Home”, “The Loop”, “Faraway Place”, and “Downtown” (as pictured) are very vibrant images related to transit and travel that creatively stimulate the visitors of the Transit Center. Don Mitchell specializes in these images that are childlike yet sophisticated at the same time.
