The Sooner Theatre

Ambassador Performance Troupe participants are selected by audition or director’s recommendation. As ambassadors of the theatre, these classes will perform at various community and civic events throughout the year, including festivals, parades, fairs and other community events. FALL semester will also focus on a more intense level of study to prep for a career in the performing arts. Scene study, acting through song, monologues and resume prep complement the lessons in audition prep, knowing your type, audition book prep, song selection, dance call for pros, guest artists and instructors from area college programs. SPRING semester will move to Thursdays and will start after The Little Mermaid on March 12, 2020. Performers must be available to perform at outside events to participate in these troupes. This class will perform as part of The Sooner Theatre Showcase, May 1-3, 2020.

This program is available during both the Fall and Spring Semesters.
