Camp Canterbury

Canterbury Youth Voices invites children who love to sing to enroll for the 14th annual Camp Canterbury. During this summer camp, the CYV staff leads children in developing vocal artistry, good choral techniques and music literacy, all in a dynamic and fun choral setting. In addition to choir, students get to choose from different music classes including folk dancing, ukulele, and much more! The camp is offered to all interested singers… Entering grades 2 – 8 in the Fall of 2019 Able to match pitch and sing in treble range (unchanged voice) Able to repeat eighth note and quarter note rhythm patterns and read simple music notation With good vocal quality With a good attitude Dates for the 2020 camp have not been released yet. Creative Summer Camps

Keep your children happy and busy this summer at the museum. Art and theater camps for ages 5-13 allow opportunities for fun, learning, and making new friends. Supplies are included with tuition fee. Each class culminates with an exhibition or performance.

Opera Theater Camp

Camp

Opera Theatre Camp is known as one of the best intensive arts experiences in the state. Cimarron Opera offers the opportunity for youth aged 9-18 to take part in this 3-week camp that provides vocal instruction, dance and acting basics, audition preparation, plus a lot of friendship, teamwork and fun! The camp then concludes with fully staged performances of an operetta for family and friends to enjoy.

Young Company Production Camp

In celebration of our 35th season, Oklahoma Shakespeare goes back to our roots, revisiting the Young Company production camp from our days in Hafer Park. Your student will enjoy the comraderie of creating a shortened version of a Shakespeare play with their peers, and will have the opportunity to perform in front of our main stage audience at the beautiful Myriad Gardens Water Stage in downtown Oklahoma City!
