Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am offers an artful and intimate meditation on the life and works of the legendary storyteller and Nobel prize-winner.

Inspired to write because no one took a “little black girl” seriously, Morrison reflects on her lifelong deconstruction of the master narrative.
Woven together with a rich collection of art, history, literature and personality, the film includes discussions about her many critically acclaimed works, including novels “The Bluest Eye,” “Sula” and “Song of Solomon,” her role as an editor of iconic African-American literature and her time teaching at Princeton University. $3 for ½ hour
$6 for 1 hour
$8 for 2 hours
$10 for all day

 

PARKING GARAGE
The Arts District parking garage is located on the corner of N Walker and W Main, one block south of OKCMOA (431 W Main)

Parking rates:
$2 first hour, $1 each additional hour
$10 for all day
Hours for use by the public:
Monday–Thursday from 6 pm–midnight
Friday at 6 pm through Sunday at midnight
