Garrett "Big G" Jacobson

As a dynamic blues performer, Garrett “Big G” Jacobson has been satisfying audiences for more than 20 years. His professional start began at age twelve as a guitarist with Oklahoma bluesman D.C. Minner. Within two years Garrett formed his own band, recorded his first album, and begun performing at numerous clubs and festivals throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding region. Since 1998, he has released five albums and performed continuously. His recordings have received critical praise in national and regional publications such as Living Blues, Blues Revue, Blues Blast, and Southwest Blues. Garrett and his band have performed at notable venues across the country such as the Buddy Guy’s Legends, The Chicago Blues Festival, The Grand Emporium, and B.B. King’s Blues Club. He has also performed with blues greats such as Jimmy Johnson, Carl Weathersby, and Smokey Wilson.
