Join Off the Wall curator Pablo Barrera for an in-depth look into the installation artworks in this surprising exhibition.
Three Oklahoma-based artists — Sarah Ahmad, romy owens and Marium Rana — have created intricate, 3-D works, ranging from flowing panels and taut fiber to technologically generated materials. The trio challenge the idea of the traditional, 2-D gallery — their pieces reach and stretch across the gallery walls, casting and illuminating shadows throughout.
