About the Plaza District Festival
In celebration of the revitalized District, the Plaza District Association holds the Plaza District Festival each fall. The festival highlights a wide array of Oklahoma’s own performing artists, visual artists, live musicians and children’s activities. The festival highlights the Plaza’s year-round art offerings, and is free to attendees and draws an average attendance of over 30,000 people. Artist booths line NW 16th Street in a festive display of Oklahoma creativity.
Exhibiting Artist Information and Guidelines
Applications will be juried by a review committee, which considers the following criteria:
– Artwork compliments the urban contemporary environment of the Plaza District
– Artwork highlights the diversity of Oklahoma culture
– Artwork showcases emerging talent
– Overall artwork in the Festival showcases a diversity of media
Quick Facts

– Artists provide tent & equipment. Electricity is provided
– Application process is juried; however, no juried or monetary awards
– $15.00 application fee, and $60 booth fee if accepted. Plaza Festival does not take a percentage of artist sales. See “Submissions” below
– Anticipated attendance of 30,000+
Types of Work Accepted
Fine art painting, printmaking, photography, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture and handmade craft. Local business retailers interested in participating, please visit our sponsorship opportunities for more information.
Submissions
Artists must submit the application online along with the $15.00 application fee. Only online applications will be accepted. Application deadline: July 5. Artists will be notified of application acceptance in mid-August, and the $60 booth fee will be collected from accepted artists.
Sales
The Plaza District does not handle any sales of artwork; all transactions must be made through the artist. Sales tax is the responsibility of the artist, and the Plaza District will submit vendor names to OK Tax Commission.
